Cold Weather and Reasons

Anna Nichols

Today's blog is going to be more focused on the season and all things that come along with it!

Winter is fast approaching y'all, and I couldn't be more excited. I have been able to wear closed toe shoes for days in a row and even a jacket a few of them. I didn't think this colder weather was ever going to show up, but I'm so glad it finally did!

Christmas time is supposed to be, in my opinion, cold and beautiful. Well.... in south Georgia it has not been cold in the slightest until last week. I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD GET COLD!!! Now that it is cold I couldn't be happier.

Putting my Christmas tree up in shorts and a tank top felt like a sin, and I just wasn't having any of that! *Side note: this is my first Christmas being married and our first Christmas together in our new house!* Okay, back to what I was saying. Cold weather and Christmas time go together like peas and carrots, like Forrest Gump said.

I don't know how people in the islands can have Christmas in the heat...wait, of course I can, they're in a tropical paradise! If you have Christmas time in hot weather, please comment something and let me know how it is because it's hard for me to imagine it. And with that said, if you have Christmas time where it snows everyday and you have to bundle up in layers upon layers, also comment. I definitely can't imagine that one!

VS.

All of that leads up to this: no matter what weather you have you Christmas time in, it's a special time of year regardless of where you're at or who you're with. Enjoy the time off from work and school. Enjoy your family. And most of all enjoy the reason for the season...and this crazy weather!
